why is it so difficult to sell a house?

i got a list this morning from the solicitors, things they want clearing up, really stupid things, and not only stupid, but some are impossible to know the answer to.
i think they must just do it to make you think they deserve the stupid amounts of money they charge.

would you like an example of a stupid and pointless solicitors question?
ok heres one

Is there a toilet roll holder?
if yes, is it included in the sale?

wtf?

Now im sat here pondering, if i say no, will they not buy the house

its so hot today
i really hope this is the start of summer
im not a big fan of winter, its so gloomy, makes me just want to stay in bed

when first i met my GF she told me about her past and how she'd had had a big fallout with her family, soon after that she had moved away and not given any of her family her new address and so hadnt spoken to them for the past 10 years, to me the argument seemed something and nothing, but i guess it meant a lot to the people involved.

many times over the last couple of years she would fantasize about meeting her dad, usualy saying how her step mum would hate to see her return and how her dad would react with little or no emotion, but i could tell she really missed them, it really ate away at her, even if she wouldnt admit it.
anyway last week i convinced her to let me take her to her dads, just to sit outside and wait for him to come back from work, maybe if she just saw him and knew he was ok, she might feel better.
they lived quite a long way away and we wernt even sure they would be still in the same house, driving around her old town she was so nervous and excited, we parked right accross from her dads house and waited, after about an hour a salesman called and knocked on the door. My GF was having kittens at this point "my dad allways answers the door, im actuly going to see him!".
but he didnt, it was her stepmum, she couldnt believe it, "somethings wrong, my dad allways gets the door and answers the phone" excitement turned to panic at the thought that something had happened to him.
"well theres only one way to find out" i said "lets go knock on the door", so we did.
her step mum answered the door and for a few moments she didnt recognise her, "is my dad in?" she asked, "no, hes working late tonight" there was a huge look of relief on her face.
anyway she invited us in, to wait, and there was lots of catching up to do, then her dad came back and it was huggs an kisses, nothing at all like she had imagined.
since then shes been contacted by her brother, aunts, uncles and cousins, its mad, she has this huge family now.
its been really good for her, shes like a different person now.
i feel really proud that i had a part in bringing so much happiness to so many people, by such a small act

it looked really warm today, but it wasnt,

good news, my GF is back to normal
well as normal as she can be
shes back on msn all smiles an xxx's
she will be ok now for a few weeks untill the PMT kicks back in, we've been together about 2 years now, you'd think id get used to it, but every time shes got it i think we are going to split up

i took my daughter shopping for clothes today,
all she wanted were black clothes with skulls on lol,
i said " what are u, a goth?" she says she likes how goths dress but not the rest, so i invented a new word for her, i said u can be a "Goff" it means "Girls of freaky fashion" she liked the idea
personly i think she looks more punk than goth, but what do i know, im old

ok you know i said i had lost some keys, well they were for my late mothers house, she died last year and im in the process of sellings it. well i had no luck finding them at all last night, so i gave up and went to bed, while i was asleep i drempt my mum told me the keys were in the drawer next to sink, so this morning i looked, an there they were, right in front of my eyes. the weired thing is, im sure id looked there allready
how strange is that ?

ive lost some keys, well they are in the house somewhere
i just cant find them, why is it when you lose something you keep going back to last place you saw it, even tho you know its not there
as if it will suddenly appear the 10th time you look
